Wendy Morgan has been a professional vocalist for over 30 years and a voice teacher and style coach for Jazz, Pop, R & B, Rock, Country, Musical Theater and all non-classical styles of music for over 15 years. Currently Ms. Morgan teaches at The Vocal Gymnasium studio and The Music Institute of Chicago in Evanston and Downtown Location upon request. She is a member of N.A.T.S. (National Association of Teachers of Singing), serves as an A.F.T.R.A. board member and is the chair of the singers committee. The vocal technique being used in her studio is a combination of Bel Canto and Speech level. Showcase opportunities are also available to students.

SUMMER 2010 RECORDING CLASS
• Hone your recording skills and become comfortable in the recording studio.
• Understanding the recording process.
• Punching in, Malting and Overdubs.
• Relaxing in the studio for better outcome.
Piano accompaniment is provided
Students will get a CD with (2) songs recorded and produced.Many students repeat this class as it's fun and a growing experience. (Includes 2 classes and the recording studio)

Prepare to two contrasting songs for Musical Theater.
Work on your stage (audition) presence.
Present yourself from start to finish and audition well.
Get the results you want from your auditions.
Vocal coaching and help with song selection.
Work with an accompanist to prepare for mock audition.
Final class will be a mock audition for a small panel of judges.
(Friends and Family are welcome to attend) Your final audition will be scored and a discussion will precede the performance.
Vocal Style/Performance Coach Wendy Morgan will lead this exciting new class – to ease students into the audition process and help them get better results out of their auditions in the future.
An accompanist will be at some classes to help prepare the sheet music and then a new pianist will play for the audition. There will also be a small panel of professionals who will score each vocalist on his/her performance.
A group discussion will take place after the audition.
