Wendy Morgan has been a professional vocalist for over 30 years and a voice teacher and style coach for Jazz, Pop, R & B, Rock, Country, Musical Theater and all non-classical styles of music for over 15 years. Currently Ms. Morgan teaches at The Vocal Gymnasium studio and The Music Institute of Chicago in Evanston and Downtown Location upon request. She is a member of N.A.T.S. (National Association of Teachers of Singing), serves as an A.F.T.R.A. board member and is the chair of the singers committee. The vocal technique being used in her studio is a combination of Bel Canto and Speech level. Showcase opportunities are also available to students.

Final class will be a mock audition for a small panel of judges.
Your final audition will be soft critiqued and panelist will discuss ways to improve your performance.
Vocal Teacher/Performance Coach/Singer Wendy Morgan will lead this class – to walk students through the audition process and help them get better results out of their auditions in the future.
Most of the classes will have piano accompaniment to help prepare the student for audition. A different pianist (new to the students) will play for the audition. There will also be a small panel of professionals who will soft critique each vocalist on his/her audition to help them know where to improve. A individual discussion with Ms. Morgan and the panel and fun performance for family and friends will take place after the audition.
